Description

EasyOCR is a Python package for out-of-the-box Optical Character Recognition (OCR) with 80+ supported languages and all common writing scripts, including Latin, Chinese, Arabic, Devanagari, Cyrillic, etc.

This port provides: * the CLI OCR tool * the Python API for recognizing text in images through the Python module EasyOCR

Install

Binary package:

pkg install py312-easyocr

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/graphics/py-easyocr/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-easyocr>0:graphics/py-easyocr
