Description

yelp-tools is a collection of scripts and build utilities to help create, manage, and publish documentation for Yelp and the web. Most of the heavy lifting is done by packages like yelp-xsl and itstool. This package just wraps things up in a developer-friendly way.

In the other systems

The newest version among them is 42.1, as upstream numbers it.

Version history 1

  1. 42.1 e0bd451062

Upstream's version as each commit to the port's Makefile set it, or as this site first saw it in the system's packages; the tree's own revisions are not versions here.

Install

Binary package:

mport install yelp-tools

From mports:

cd /usr/mports/textproc/yelp-tools && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	yelp-tools>0:textproc/yelp-tools

Dependency graph

Ports that need it on the left, what it needs to run on the right (to build, as it needs nothing to run); at most 8 of each. "Dependencies" below lists them all.

8a556830f4 Lucas Holt *: fix broken PORTSCOUT limit configurations (#1257)
Audited every `PORTSCOUT` setting in the tree (526 ports) against the parser in `Portscout::API` and the limit checks in `FindNewestFile()`, and fixed the 30 that could never report an update. Each one either failed to parse or excluded the port's own current version, so portscout was silently reporting nothing for them. ### What was checked Validation mirrored portscout's real behaviour rather than the documented syntax: - Tokens must match `^([A-Za-z]+):(.*)$` after `make -V` expansion; recognised keys are `site`, `limit`, `limitw`, `skipv`, `skipb`, `ignore`. - `limit` must be a compilable Perl regex; `limitw` must match `^(\d{1,2}),(even|odd)$`. - For GitHub/GitLab ports, `FindNewestFile()` normalises the tag — …
e0bd451062 Lucas Holt textproc/yelp-tools: update to 42.1 (#943)
Updates yelp-tools from 42.0 to 42.1.\n\nUses the canonical GNOME source path and framework-provided XML/XSLT dependencies. Existing GPLv2 metadata is retained.\n\nValidation: bmake makesum, patch, build, fake, package, test (no tests defined), check-license, portlint -C (0 fatal), and git diff --check. ## Summary by Sourcery Update yelp-tools to 42.1 with current GNOME port conventions and dependency handling. Enhancements: - Update yelp-tools to version 42.1 and use the canonical GNOME source location. - Adopt framework-provided XML/XSLT dependencies and enable the required GNOME, gettext, and pathfix integration. a05b377b53 Lucas Holt *: bump PORTREVISION for the textproc/libxml2 2.15 shared library change (#848)
`textproc/libxml2` 2.15 changed SONAME from `libxml2.so.2` to `libxml2.so.16` **and** removed ELF symbol versioning entirely — the new library defines no `LIBXML2_*` versions at all. Consumers built against the old library were never rebuilt, so they still record a dependency on `libxml2.so.2` plus version requirements nothing can satisfy, and fail at load time: ``` ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libxml2.so.2: version LIBXML2_2.4.30 required by /usr/local/lib/libevdocument3.so.4 not defined ``` ### Scope `Tools/scripts/bump_revision.pl -f -l textproc/libxml2` — **436 Makefiles**: 323 revisions incremented, 113 gained a `PORTREVISION` line. The diff touches nothing but `PORTREVISION` lines (verified: `git diff -U0` shows no other changed line), and spot-checked ports still …
