Description

geda is a suite of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools used to make electrical circuit design, simulation and prototyping/ production easier/doable. The suite includes the gschem schematic capture program, the gnetlist netlister, the gattrib attribute editor along with several other utility programs.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install geda

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/cad/geda && make install clean

2c9d955829 gdt cad/geda: Remove as deprecated upstream and unused
Upstream is not only not maintaing this, but has said they aren't and suggests switching to Ringdove. The distfile is from 2013. No one spoke up in respone to a removal proposal on pkgsrc-users@.
