Description

GTK+ is a multi-platform toolkit for creating graphical user interfaces. Offering a complete set of widgets, GTK+ is suitable for projects ranging from small one-off tools to complete application suites.

GTK+ has been designed from the ground up to support a range of languages, not only C/C++. Using GTK+ from languages such as Perl and Python (especially in combination with the Glade GUI builder) provides an effective method of rapid application development.

This package contains GTK+ 2.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install gtk2+

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/x11/gtk2 && make install clean

d55d601feb jperkin gtk2: Fix previous.
If a user didn't have MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET set in mk.conf then the variable was no longer defined, so handle both cases. Pointed out by tnn@.

Adding to MAKE_ENV just allowed the mk/platform/Darwin.mk setting from mk.conf to take precedence. Set the variable directly here instead so that it is set once to the correct value. Fixes the build on my SDK 15.5 target.
