Description
DeltaRPM is a tool that generates RPMs that contains the difference between an old and a new version of an RPM. This makes it possible to recreate the new RPM from the deltarpm and the old one. You don't have to have a copy of the old RPM, as it can also work with installed RPMs. The package also contains tools for creating and applying delta ISOs.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install sysutils/deltarpm
pkg install deltarpmFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/deltarpm/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= deltarpm>0:sysutils/deltarpmPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
