Description

rush is a tool similar to GNU parallel and gargs. rush borrows some ideas from them and has some unique features, e.g., supporting custom defined variables, resuming multi-line commands, more advanced embedded replacement strings.

These features make rush suitable for easy and flexibe parallelization of complex workflows in fields like Bioinformatics.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/rush
pkg install rush-parallelization-tool

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/rush/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	rush-parallelization-tool>0:sysutils/rush

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
