Description

The ajp module lets nginx speak AJP, the binary protocol that Apache's mod_proxy_ajp uses, so that a Tomcat or a JBoss behind it can be reached over its AJP connector instead of over HTTP.

This port only installs the module sources. The module itself is built by the nginx ports when their AJP option is enabled.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install nginx-module-ajp

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/www/nginx-module-ajp/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	nginx-module-ajp>0:www/nginx-module-ajp

Message after installing

This package contains the sources of the AJP module only.  It does not
install a loadable module.

The module itself is built by the nginx ports.  To use AJP, build
www/nginx, www/nginx-devel or www/freenginx with the AJP option
enabled.  Those ports pick the sources up from
/usr/local/share/nginx/modules/nginx-module-ajp and produce
ngx_http_ajp_module.so.
