Description

The let module adds a let directive to nginx that computes an expression and assigns the result to a variable. It understands arithmetic, string concatenation and a set of functions, among them length, substr, hash and the md5 and sha1 digests, so a value can be derived inside the configuration instead of in an upstream.

This port only installs the module sources. The module itself is built by the nginx ports when their LET option is enabled.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install nginx-module-let

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/www/nginx-module-let/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	nginx-module-let>0:www/nginx-module-let

No options to configure.

Message after installing

This package contains the sources of the let module only.  It does
not install a loadable module.

The module itself is built by the nginx ports.  To use let, build
www/nginx, www/nginx-devel or www/freenginx with the LET option
enabled.  Those ports pick the sources up from
/usr/local/share/nginx/modules/nginx-module-let and produce
ngx_http_let_module.so.
