Description

The modsecurity3 module is the connector between nginx and libmodsecurity, the engine of ModSecurity 3: it hands each request and response to the engine and acts on what the rules say. The rules themselves are not part of it -- the OWASP core rule set is one place to get them.

This port only installs the module sources. The module itself is built by the nginx ports when their MODSECURITY3 option is enabled.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install nginx-module-modsecurity3

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/www/nginx-module-modsecurity3/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	nginx-module-modsecurity3>0:www/nginx-module-modsecurity3

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

Sources of the modsecurity3 connector for the NGINX ports. The module hands requests to libmodsecurity3, which applies a rule set such as the OWASP core rules and can refuse the request. Sponsored by: Netzkommune GmbH
