Description
HIDAPI is a platform independent library that allows applications to work with USB HID-Class devices. While it can be used to communicate with standard HID devices like keyboards, mice, and joysticks, it is most useful when used with custom (Vendor-Defined) HID devices.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install comms/hidapi
pkg install hidapiFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/comms/hidapi/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= hidapi>0:comms/hidapi
LIB_DEPENDS= libhidapi.so:comms/hidapiPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
