Description
OpenBB: Command Line Interface for the OpenBB Platform.
The openbb-cli package provides the interactive command-line interface (CLI) client for the OpenBB Platform. It serves as an open-source data router and investment research terminal, offering structured access to multiple financial data providers under a single interface.
Features include:
- Standard single command mode for automation, scripts, and CI jobs.
- Batch processing mode reading NDJSON requests from standard input.
- Interactive REPL environment with tab-completion and custom menus.
- Support for local environments as well as remote OpenAPI servers.
Install
Binary package:
pkg install py312-openbb-cliFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/finance/py-openbb-cli/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
