Description

python-dotenv reads the key,value pair from .env and adds them to environment variable. It is great of managing app settings during development and in production using 12-factor principles.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install www/py-python-dotenv
pkg install py312-python-dotenv

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/www/py-python-dotenv/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-python-dotenv>0:www/py-python-dotenv
