Description

Erlang is a programming language used to build massively scalable soft real-time systems with requirements on high availability. Some of its uses are in telecoms, banking, e-commerce, computer telephony and instant messaging. Erlang's runtime system has built-in support for concurrency, distribution and fault tolerance.

This port contains a standalone runtime environment of Erlang 24 to be used during the development of OTP applications.

3e55877067 Lucas Holt lang/erlang-runtime24: let os_mon run on MidnightBSD (#1840)
`os:type()` reports `{unix, midnightbsd}`, which OTP doesn't recognize. This is the same fix as #1835 (lang/erlang-runtime28), found when databases/couchdb3 (#1836) aborted at startup. **Problems on stock OTP:** - `disksup`, `memsup` and `cpu_sup` exit with `{unsupported_os, {unix, midnightbsd}}`, which kills the `os_mon` application and anything that depends on it. - `inet_config` skips `/etc/host.conf`. **Fix:** each `os_mon` module gets an `mbsd_os_type()` helper that maps midnightbsd to freebsd, used in place of `os:type()`. The other modules get an extra `midnightbsd` clause. The C port programs already build the FreeBSD code because the compiler defines `__FreeBSD__`. PORTREVISION is bumped. **Testing** (amd64, 4.0.9): …
