Description

Erlang is a programming language used to build massively scalable soft real-time systems with requirements on high availability. Some of its uses are in telecoms, banking, e-commerce, computer telephony and instant messaging. Erlang's runtime system has built-in support for concurrency, distribution and fault tolerance.

This port contains a standalone runtime environment of Erlang 28 to be used during the development of OTP applications.

25fda653ae Lucas Holt lang/erlang-runtime28: new port, Erlang/OTP 28.5.0.8 (#1835)
Add a standalone Erlang/OTP 28 runtime. It's needed for databases/couchdb3 3.5.3, which requires OTP 27 or newer and fixes six CVEs; our newest runtime is erlang-runtime26. The couchdb3 update is in a separate PR. **Source:** ported from FreeBSD's `lang/erlang-runtime28` and updated from 28.5.0.6 to 28.5.0.8, the latest OTP 28 tag. The corba 5.2.2 distfile checksum matches FreeBSD's distinfo. **MidnightBSD changes**, the same ones `lang/erlang-runtime26` already makes: - `FAKE_DESTDIR` and `post-fake` instead of `STAGEDIR` and `post-stage` - an explicit `CONFIGURE_TARGET=${ARCH}-portbld-freebsd12.4` - DTRACE turned off by default - `-DMAP_NORESERVE=0` applied on every OS, not only FreeBSD - `-${RM}` in the option-off targets …
