Description

libsecret is a library for storing and retrieving passwords and other secrets. It communicates with the "Secret Service" using DBus. gnome-keyring and ksecretservice are both implementations of a Secret Service; libsecret replaces libgnome-keyring.

Install

Binary package:

security/libsecret: update to 0.21.8.2 (#1321)

Updates libsecret to 0.21.8.2.\n\nUpstream declares the complete source set as LGPL-2.1-or-later, GPL-2.0-or-later, and Apache-2.0; the port now declares those three licenses with their supplied files. Also adds USE_LDCONFIG for libsecret-1.so.\n\nValidation: bmake makesum, patch, build, fake, package, test (existing NO_TEST), check-license, and git diff --check. portlint only reports the preserved generated .mport artifact plus nonfatal style advisories. ## Summary by Sourcery Update the libsecret port to 0.21.8.2 with complete license metadata and shared-library runtime configuration. *: bump PORTREVISION for the textproc/libxml2 2.15 shared library change (#848)

`textproc/libxml2` 2.15 changed SONAME from `libxml2.so.2` to `libxml2.so.16` **and** removed ELF symbol versioning entirely — the new library defines no `LIBXML2_*` versions at all. Consumers built against the old library were never rebuilt, so they still record a dependency on `libxml2.so.2` plus version requirements nothing can satisfy, and fail at load time: ``` ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libxml2.so.2: version LIBXML2_2.4.30 required by /usr/local/lib/libevdocument3.so.4 not defined ``` ### Scope `Tools/scripts/bump_revision.pl -f -l textproc/libxml2` — **436 Makefiles**: 323 revisions incremented, 113 gained a `PORTREVISION` line.
