Description

Libgcrypt is a general purpose cryptographic library based on the code from GnuPG.

It provides functions for all cryptographic building blocks: symmetric ciphers, hash algorithms, MACs, public key algorithms, large integer functions, random numbers and a lot of supporting functions.

5d9b2c1b62 Lucas Holt security/libgcrypt: update to 1.12.3 (#799)
Update Libgcrypt to upstream 1.12.3, which includes validation, bounds-checking, and cryptographic correctness fixes. On amd64, disable the new AVX-512 assembly path because the supported MidnightBSD toolchain assembler rejects its SM4 instructions; portable and lower-tier optimized implementations remain enabled. The former 2019 Magus test suppression is removed: the port-managed check target now passes all 41 upstream tests (two intentionally skipped). Validation: - bmake makesum - bmake patch, configure, build, fake, package - bmake clean test: 41 passed, 2 intentionally skipped - portlint -C: 0 fatal errors (3 pre-existing warnings) ## Summary by Sourcery Update the Libgcrypt port to 1.12.3 while preserving amd64 toolchain compatibility and re-enabling upstream validation. …
